Autumn Favourites

As autumn has now well and truly set in, I thought I'd share a few of my favourite colours for the gloomy season. (Can you tell I'm a summer person?!)

First up is Sinful Colors - Envy. It's a really rich and deep green and is perfect for autumn or even matching with red for a Christmas theme later on. It has quite a thin consistency but applies easily and dries quickly. This is 3 thin coats with no top coat.

Next we have BarryM - Coconut. I know lighter colours are supposed to be for spring/summer, but I love a nude colour all year round. It pairs perfectly with any outfit and it just easy to wear. The consistency is fantastic, this is 2 thick coats with no top coat.

Next I chose BarryM - Ruby Glitter. i put it over BarryM - Coconut so you can really se what it's like. It's a gorgeous black and red sequin glitter and is perfect to jazz up any autumnal mani. This was 1 thin coat with no top coat.

Now I love a plain black mani, but I've been told by friends it's a little to depressing for every day! So Here's my autumnal twist on a classic. Models Own - Obsidian. Just having the black with the glitter makes it lighter and more seasonal and just perfect for parties. This is 2 thick coats but it really could have done with a third coat just to even it out.

Next we have Sally Hansen - Plums The Word. It's such a perfect colour for autumn as it's muted but not dull. It's a beautiful plum/dusky purple colour and as with all Sally Hansen polishes it has a lovely consistency and dries really fast. This is 2 medium coats with no top coat.

And Last but not least we have Rimmel - Round And Round The Garden. It's a gorgeous muted, moss green and would be perfect put into autumnal nail art as well as just by itself. It has a great consistency and this was 2 medium coats with no top coat.

Until next time,

- Esther :)
