Though I do say so myself, this has to be one of the cutest manis I've ever done! And it was remarkably easy.

Christmas!!

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all had a lovely day and ate and drank far too much! I know I did! I'm not massively a fan of Christmas (other than spending time with family, obviously) so I decided to embrace that with my nails and instead of going for the obvious sparkly design with trees and snow or such like, I'd go a little Scrooge chic! Personally I'm super happy with how they turned out and wore them with pride all day! 

I've added a couple of snaps from my day. My dad and I have a early tradition of setting the Christmas pudding alight, and every year there's too much fire and my mum freaks out! But it's fun anyway ;)

Proud Moments

As I've said before I love painting roses. But in the last couple of weeks I've done these two manis and simply not wanted to take them off! I'm so happy with how they both turned out, especially the blue and green one. They're different to my usual style but it's now a firm favourite.

Now, I can't promise many posts in the next week or so as I had surgery on my knee yesterday so will be dosed up on hundreds of pain killers and unable to move around for a bit! But Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back to normal.

Winter Manis

'Tis that season again. Where the red and green nail paints get used up, you almost kill yourself trying to make the perfect snowflake, and there's no sun to take a good picture. Yes, I've finally admitted to myself that summer is well and truly over and it is the dreaded season known as Winter. 

To mark the occasion here are a few winter themed manis I've done in the last week or so.

BarryM Autumn

I've seen loads of nail artists so wood textures and thought it looked amazing but really hard. I finally got the courage to try it the other week and was amazed by how easy it was to make it look effective!

As is probably already apparent, I have a slight obsession with painting roses. They're something I find fast and easy and am usually pleased with the outcome.

Houndstooth

I tried my first houndstooth design a couple of weeks ago! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and straight lines aren't my strong point but I was pretty happy with how it turned out, and I LOVE the colours I used! 

I used a combination of O.P.I. - Put A Coat On It, Models Own - Marquise Maroon, and Brunette Red

Sorry!

I can't believe it's almost a month since I last posted! It's gone so quickly and been so busy!
My sister, brother-in-law, and nephew came over for two weeks from America and I had a lot of fun with them, then what with Christmas shopping and making Christmas cards I just haven't had the time to post!
I did both of my sister's nails a lot while they were here so here are some photos of the nails I did on them and a picture of my gorgeous nephew!

I hereby promise to try and post more!
